Now I have never been Black Friday shopping, but I figured I would be able to handle Lilly + Target. I wasn't going to attempt to shop online because I knew the chances of actually getting anything were going to be slim.
Target opened at 8:00 on Sunday morning, so I arrived around 7:30ish just to check things out and see what this was going to be like. There were about 10 women in line outside. I thought, "Awesome, I might actually be able to get what I want!". I thought WRONG!
When the doors finally opened, people started running, even people behind us in line. The 10 women in front of me cleaned out all accessories and apparel. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? When I saw their carts, they had entire racks of dresses. What sickens me is those women were most likely only there to get everything and anything they could so they would be able to sell it on eBay for double. It's people like that that are ruining the fun of these designer collaborations.
I was able to get a few home items, but when I got home and was able to really look at them I decided to return them. They just weren't the same quality as the true Lilly Pulitzer. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I guess, I will just stick with what I know, the real Lilly Pulitzer.
How was your Lilly + Target experience?
Don't forget about Milly at Kohls on Thursday. Hopefully, this won't be the same. xoxo, Sierra
