I recently was a bridesmaid on a bachelorette trip to New Orleans. We had such a great time. Our weekend included beignets, an airboat tour on the bayou, personal chefs, Hurricanes at the famous, Pat O'Brien"s, and a photoshoot in the French Quarter. Here is a recap of our amazing trip.

Planning a wedding while working full-time is no joke. My mom has been such a rockstar helping with so much. We were both in need for some serious R&R. While deciding what I wanted to do for my bachelorette, I really thought my mom and future mother-in-law could use a vacay too. I didn't want a super rowdy bachelorette with genital decor and strippers, that's just not me. I wanted a getaway trip with some sunshine and maybe a Coco Loco or two. After much consideration, a cruise seemed like the best decision for a weekend escape from the cold. Five of my bridesmaids, my mother, future mother-in-law and myself all flew down to Miami, Florida and boarded Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas to the Bahamas. We had a FABULESS time. Check out our trip below.
For those of you that have never cruised before, I highly suggest looking into it. You get a wonderful and well thought out trip for a great price. This was my 5th or 6th cruise and Royal Caribbean never disappoints. If you're local to Columbus, check out Magic Cruises for all your booking needs. Now it's time to finish planning this wedding.
Shop My LooksThis holiday season many of us will be traveling over the river and through the woods. The holidays are not only our merriest months but also our most expensive. Here are a few tips and tricks to save you some money while traveling. 1. Always bring an empty water bottle in your carry-on
I always grab my Tervis or Swell water bottle to throw in my carry-on. Once you get through security you can fill it at a water fountain. It's important to stay hydrated on planes and bottled water at the airport is never less than $5. 2. Clean out your fridge If I will be gone for a week or longer, I try and clean out the items in my fridge or pantry that will go bad. Left over berries? Instead of throwing them out, put them in a plastic container and have them on your plane as a snack. Bananas and granola are always easy options too. This will keep you from spending money at the snack counter as well as eating healthy. 3. Keep the mini hotel shampoos and conditioners My family thinks I'm crazy for collecting hotel shampoos and conditioners. I have a gallon size ziploc filled with them. Going to an Airbnb for a weekend and not sure if they will have soap, bring some hotel minis. Going to your grandparent's and don't want to use his Head and Shoulders, bring some hotel minis. Run out of conditioner at home, use a left over hotel mini. 4. Get TSA Pre-Check Now TSA Pre-Check is more FABULOUS than FABULESS but I can't tell you how many times it has saved my butt. It's $85 and lasts five years. You don't have to take your shoes or jackets off. You don't need to take out your laptop. Plus, the line is never longer than five minutes. Splurge your money and save your time! 5. Layers, layers, layers There is nothing worse than freezing on your entire flight or having to spend $25 for some tacky airport sweatshirt. Bundle up before you leave for the airport so you have the option to shed some layers if you want. 6. Stock up on entertainment I always bring magazines, a book, my laptop and headphones during flights. You never know how long you're going to be stuck at the airport and I get bored easily. If you come prepared with your own entertainment then you won't need to buy a new book in the gift shop. I hope these travel tips help you save some time and money during your holiday travels. Enjoy your time with family and friends and I will see you in 2018. Merry Christmas!!
It is officially wedding season. There are bachelorette trips, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and weddings every weekend. This summer, I have my fair share of wedding festivities and I could not be more excited.
I recently attended a couples shower for one of my oldest and closest friends - HEY S - and wore this off-the-shoulder dress from Anthropolgie. It was an outdoor, evening party and my dress was perfect for the occasion. This dress is currently on sale for $39.95. Check it out here and below.

I have a couple of posts, including a collaboration with a new boutique opening this summer in Columbus, coming soon. I could not be more excited to share them with you all.
Have a FABULESS week! Growing up in Dublin, Ohio, golf is at the root of the community's culture. Going to the Memorial Tournament was a right of passage as a child and is something I look forward to now as an adult. You always want to look your best but wear something that withstand the head and be comfortable. Through my experience you want something that is going to be breezy to keep you cool and comfortable. I liked wearing this jumpsuit dress from Zara because I got the preppy-ness from the dress, but still had the built in shorts of a romper so I could enjoy the breeze without being nervous my dress would blow up. Plus, this jumpsuit dress is under $40. I highly suggest comfortable shoes because of all the walking you will be doing from hole to hole. You also need to carry a small clutch or crossbody since large bags are not allowed in. Lastly, I suggest some sort of hat to keep the sun off your face and protected. Here is what I wore to the Memorial Tournament this year. If you ever have the pleasure of visiting Dublin, Ohio, I suggest trying to visit around the Memorial Tournament so you can experience this one of a kind golf tournament.
