I have officially joined the Birchbox community. I have been so curious about it for so long, that I finally decided to try it. For those of you that don’t know, Birchbox is a monthly beauty subscription that mails you customized samples. I joined just last week and already got my first box. First things first, look how adorable the box is. I am trying to think of someway to reuse it. I really like how there is an info card, that includes the theme of the month on the front and lists all the products in your box and how to use them. It also includes the prices of the full-size products. I haven't gotten to try anything yet since I got it yesterday but I am so happy with my first box and cannot wait to receive my May box. If you're interested in signing up for a monthly subscription, click the link below. Time to go try my samples!
See you Friday! xoxo, Sierra

Once again, I've found a pair of shoes at DSW that are officially on my wish list. Introducing the BCBG Paris Jaze Suede Pumps. They come in a variety of colors including Blue (seen below), Cobalt Blue, Magenta, Grey, and Orange. PS. Orange is the New Black. The shape of the shoe is very flattering with a soft pointed toe, that's not too harsh. The height of the heel is a comfortable 4". Plus, they run true to size. These fabulous shoes could be for business or pleasure, either way they're fabu-less!
xoxo, Sierra Yesterday, Kohl's released their collection Milly for DesigNation. I arrived right after 9:00 AM, when the store opened, wondering if I was going to run into the same experience I had at Lilly for Target. Luckily, there was only one other woman at the Kohl's I went to. Unfortunately, they were not selling all of the pieces at the Kohl's I went to. This was pretty upsetting since some of the pieces I wanted the most, weren't there. I grabbed a couple things and headed to the fitting rooms. The majority of tops and bottoms that I tried on were way too big. All of the jumpsuits and dresses fit true to size. All three items were 25% off. Then I had an additional 20% off coupon. Plus, the cashier asked if I was interested in completing a store survey for an additional 10% off. Of course, I said yes!
Jumpsuit + Maxi Dress + Top Original Total - $206 Fabu-Less Paid - $112 Kohl's also has an awesome reward program, Yes2You Rewards. For every $100 you spend, you receive a $5 reward. They were also holding their Kohl's Cash special. For every $50 you spend, you get $10 Kohl's Cash. After everything, I received $20 Kohl's Cash and a $5 reward. Wooo!! Overall, Milly for Kohl's was a much better experience than Lilly for Target. Here are some of my other favorite items from the collection. 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 Happy shopping!! xoxo, Sierra
As many of you might already know, Piperlime is leaving us forever. This Gap owned store, has been my go-to website for fabulous apparel, shoes, accessories, and handbags. They announced their website will officially close on April 30th. As one last hoorah, they are selling the rest of their items online with an additional 40% off. The sale ends tomorrow, April 23rd, so go treat yourself to one last Piperlime gift. Sizes are limited and items are selling out quickly. Here are some of my favorite items they still have.
So long Piperlime! We will miss your fabulous taste!

Now I have never been Black Friday shopping, but I figured I would be able to handle Lilly + Target. I wasn't going to attempt to shop online because I knew the chances of actually getting anything were going to be slim.
Target opened at 8:00 on Sunday morning, so I arrived around 7:30ish just to check things out and see what this was going to be like. There were about 10 women in line outside. I thought, "Awesome, I might actually be able to get what I want!". I thought WRONG!
When the doors finally opened, people started running, even people behind us in line. The 10 women in front of me cleaned out all accessories and apparel. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? When I saw their carts, they had entire racks of dresses. What sickens me is those women were most likely only there to get everything and anything they could so they would be able to sell it on eBay for double. It's people like that that are ruining the fun of these designer collaborations.
I was able to get a few home items, but when I got home and was able to really look at them I decided to return them. They just weren't the same quality as the true Lilly Pulitzer. Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I guess, I will just stick with what I know, the real Lilly Pulitzer.
How was your Lilly + Target experience?
Don't forget about Milly at Kohls on Thursday. Hopefully, this won't be the same. xoxo, Sierra |
